On the bookshelf

Over the years as a Movement Therapist I have come across some incredible and inspiring reads. These are all within the realm of the body, our health and movement. In some they are playgrounds of exploration and possibility, in others they are a support for riding the waves of injury rehabilitation.

Often in practice, a client may come with an issue that connects strongly to the wisdom of one of these books, and I find myself time and again recommending them with great results.

Here is a place that (over time) I will add the best of the best. These are books that I have come across through my study of Ayurveda, Structural Integration, Anatomy, Physical Theatre & Craniosacral Therapy. Despite there being a myriad of disciplines out there in complementary health, it is with delight that I have found the same books re-occurring across discipline.
